Heh, I can just imagine the engineer in charge back at the shipyard at the end of the movie looking at the damage and saying to himself "Ah fuck....Insurance isn't gonna cover this!"

Also, round about the 4:20 ish mark, the editing isn't very good, the entire first part of the ramming sequence keeps repeating.

From a technical standpoint the Scimitar far outclasses both the Enterprise and the other Romulan Warbirds. It had 52 disruptor banks, 27 torpedo launchers and a 2-layered shield system in addition to heavy armor and the fire while cloak system.

Enterprise-E has 16 phaser arrays, 10 torpedo launchers and a standard single layer deflector shield system.

I agree I never liked that the Scimitar only got to 70% shields but maybe that was level 2 they were working on at the end.

I miss the old space dock. This one feels like the cut corners on the CGI

Though the director didn't understand nor care about the characters, one thing he got right was the action and depicting these starships as incredibly powerful. My only nitpick from this video is that when the Enterprise rams the Schimitar, dialogue doesn't match up with what we see from space. Picard orders full impulse, but it looks like full thrusters... Shinzon orders hard to port, but his ship lumbers slowly to port. Other than that, the whole ramming sequence was amazing.

It's a shame that this is the closest i've got to the final battle scene without shitty music ruining the video ;(
