Oh, and women should be kept away from everyone else while on their period. Men and women should be exiled if they have sex while she's menstruating... and all sorts of other daft, outdated guff.

Great song, great message. I'm not gay, but anyway homosexuality deserves respect. And if someone tells me that the bible is against homosexuals, i say that i clean my ass with that book!!!

yeah right on! im straight, but i only found that out after much confussion(for me and my mates) i only had the guts to find out because of this and the way it was back then.a misspent youth on the dilly didnt help though-ahh good times...

@carpypark . Yep he was a gay who's father disowned him (A touchy subject in Glasgow back then!).. This is the story of why he had to leave home. Personally i.m straight but this is a great song which has stood the test of time.
