  • are these the 33x12.50's? if so, do you have any rubbing problems on rough ground? i wanted that size but i was told it wouldnt fit, even with my leveling kit, but it seems to fit just fine. great looking truck!

  • @79lance Thanks bro, mine are 285-70 17 tires that are a hair smaller than a 33-12.50, but is inbetween a 32-11.50 and 33-12.50. no rubbing at all.

  • is that a 2 or 2.5in leveling kit?

  • @socomplicating I do believe it is a 2.5'' kit, made by dayton.

  • Where'd you get that grille? Although it probably wouldn't fit on my 2004 lariats honeycomb grille any way

  • @micahgray1 yea he has a 04 4 door 4x4 with the 5.4 which is the first year of the body style and he had problems with the plugs breaking, strippin out, and even workin there way out of the head.

  • @BLACKLACDTS I have never really checked my mpgs, i will say it does not seem to be too bad. I have a work van i drive during the week so she really only gets driven on weekends. What type of problem did your buddy at work have with the plugs? Anything major.

  • @micahgray1 the mechanic at my work has a 05 and he had the spark plug problems and he said the dealership told him its be known to happen. im in the market for a pickup so im just tryin to find out all i can. how is the gas mileage with the 33's?

  • @BLACKLACDTS Thanks, i'm not sure if 35s would fit, it would be close and posibly need fender trimming or other. I have not had any trouble with spark plugs, and hope i dont.

I havent heard of those problems, i know 05s had some injector problems.

  • NICE TRUCK!!! i read in 4x4 magizine that with the 2.5 leveling kit on 06 and newer f150's you can run 35" tires. do you think you could run 35's on your truck? i know they are very simular trucks but i wondered if sumthing was different? did you ever have any problems with the spark plugs stripping out, shooting out or breaking off in the head? i think it was a problem in the 04-05's
