Staring contest FTW. Really appropriate that Zack looked away first, too, in terms of their characters. Kirk could and did beat Spock at staring contests.

This is a great interview. The interviewer has some genuinely insightful comments and questions about the film, and I loved all of J.J.'s answers, as well as the adorkableness that is Pinto. Seriously. Awesome stuff!
