This past February Break 2008, a group of high school students from Rocky Hill High School in Rocky Hill, CT traveled down to New Orleans, Louisiana to work with Habitat For Humanity for the week.
Three years later the conditions are still terrible.
PLEASE, if you ever get the chance to go down the the New Orleans area and lend a hand, do it. It'll be one of the best decisions you've ever made. These people are really still in need of your help.
Experience with construction is absolutely not necessary. Most of us didn't even know how to hammer a nail properly before leaving.
Please watch and rate and spread the word!
