Taliban leader Khalid still alive, despite govt claims

One of Pakistans most wanted Taliban leaders is alive and well, despite claims by the government he was killed months ago.
Umer Khalid has been filmed in the remote border region with Afghanistan where he said to be still in charge of 35,000 of fighters.

Khalid appears relaxed in the video with group of young armed men.

It also shows four hostages who belong to the Frontier Constabulary the security force operating in the tribal areas.

Khalid claims to have already killed two captured men and is threatening to kill the remaining four unless the authorities free Taliban prisoners they are holding
