Develped by Maxim to address the additional firefighting capacity needed during war at a time when most of the truck chassis production was headed directly to the military for the war effort. These trailers were self contained fire pumps that could be towed by Fire Department Cars. They were 500 gallon per minute pumps coupled to a Ford flathead V-8 engine. Most were stationed as additional capacity at the Municipal Fire Department level. This trailer is mostly complete but needs restoration. It is for sale. Contact poster for additional information.
