Nice video. As pointed out, these are sold under Hoover name in US. The stick vac is amazing, I'm absolutely a huge fan of the stick vac, still not fully decided on the hand vac though. Never been too keen on battery charged anything, but it's nice to see that they are incorporating new battery technology into vacuums. TTI Corporation (parent company for Hoover & Vax), also owns Ryobi power tools, which is where this battery technology came from. They will continue to give Dyson run 4 $.

These two machines are sold under the Hoover name in the US, which, of course, I am certain that you are aware of, Jack. They were never meant to be replacements for deep cleaners, but rather for those quick touch-ups that one must do whenever the Mother-in-Law phones and says that she'll be arriving w/in the hour!!!LOL

Another early Christmas Present Jack?
This would seem like an attempt by Vax to compete in the market place with Dyson's cordless hand-held machines. I'm sure that it works quite well, though it sounds noisy, even on the video. Are the filters prone to clogging, as shown when you empty the machine?..and what about that fire place..looks like a real fire, which should keep unwelcome guests out of the chimney?
