hey how hard is this and is it really time consuming? i know ive got a few months but im thinking of getting one for my bf for xmas cos he loves the original and puzzles but i dont want to completly lose all his time to this!!!

Hey there.

I use the same technique as you to get the 1st sphere (smallest) upside down, but then I just shake it and hope it lands in either one of the holes.

Do you use an technique or is it just random?

Yes the first thing I do is that then I position a ball into the hole. Then I will use momentum to move the ball into a position causing the inside sphere to lock up and after that a tiny shake causes the ball to go on the outside layer. Just take your time to figure it out. There is a specific way to do it.
