This is to compaire two Leslie horns. The first is a stock Leslie RS-3L very common on Conrail.

The second, the same horn (retuned) to sound a more pleasent cord.

Retuning is done by modifying the trumpets, or bells as they are more correctally called, by cutting a section out of the base to get the key desired.

Alot of New Zealand locomotives have the RS-3L horns on them, mainly the DX an DFT's, most DC's have single supertyfons
