Yes that is very true. Everyone in the Aussie army is there because they genuinely want to be there.
It's not like Russia or something where half of the 21,000,000 are conscripts. Not saying they are shit, but we all know that people who don't want to do something will usually do a half-assed job at it, it's the same with their conscripted police, just look them up haha.

Yes. The positive thing about having smaller armed forces is that soldiers are often better trained and more professional than soldiers of larger nations. Technology is not always the answer especially if things go to shit.
Nothing but respect should be shown to the Aussies for their past and current achievements.
