Part 1 of 3 of several scenes from the 2002 independent film, "Happy Here and Now", starring David Arquette, Liane Balaban, Karl Geary, Clarence Williams III, Ally Sheedy, and supermodel Shalom Harlow. Taking place in New Orleans, Louisiana, 16-year-old Amelia (Liane) sets out to find her suddenly vanished older sister, Muriel (Shalom). A burned out ex-CIA agent, Bill (Clarence), joins in her search after uncovering fragments of online chats with a soft-core adult filmmaker, Eddie Mars (Arquette), on Muriel's computer. Following a twisted trail to Eddie's underground studio, Amelia and Bill close in on the shocking truth behind Muriel's disappearance.

*To give my absolutely honest opinion, this is a film I actually wouldn't recommend checking out to watch for yourselves overall. The plotline left me with unanswered questions, there are plenty of long dialogue scenes with irrelevant jargon, other scenes didn't seem to belong in the film, and I didn't think the film really had an ending. Perhaps its just me, or maybe there was symbolism that I didn't get from watching it, but it is one of my least favorite films I have.*
