Rock'n Roll! Nicht nur in Bezug auf die Musik, sondern auch in Bezug auf die Produktionsbedingungen... Scott und Chris von The Flatliners aus Canada (und wir) mussten so einiges hinnehmen in heutiger Show: Nicht nur, dass es in Strömen regnete, woanders brannte es und so rauschten gleich mehrere Löschfahrzeuge durch's Bild (und noch viele mehr vor und nach der Aufzeichnung). Obendrein wollte dann die Zigarette von Scott, die er sich lässig vor der Aufzeichnung anmachte (Vorteil eines Open Air Studios in heutigen Nichtraucherzeiten), nicht so wie er... Alles bei Minute 3 - Rough Stuff! So soll's sein, dafür sind wir auf'm Balkon. Normalerweise treiben The Flatliners sich weniger auf Balkonen als auf den Bühnen der Welt mit Bands wie Bad Religion oder NOFX herum. Mit vollem Equipment und im Trockenen haben die Jungs dann nach der Aufzeichnung im Molotow mit einer Mischung aus Punk-Rock, Ska und "balls out rock'n roll" richtig losgelegt. Heute Abend sind sie in Malmö (Schweden) zu sehen. Statt Regen erwarten sie dort massenhaft mitsingende Fans. Aber hey: Rock'n Rain!!

The way their guitars are resonating, almost sounds like there's cello or synth (something "stringy") in the background. Sound of the rain/cars on the wet road goes perfectly with this.

havent heard of balcony tv but ive watched quite a few black cab confessions and i love they way they film musicians in the back of a cab and drive around london(i think its london) but yeah check it out if you like this..
