This is amazing. I am so glad you created this documentary and I hope that many people out there will listen and take note of the dire situation we are all in. Of course there are those who live in la-la land...sadly, they will probably miss the point entirely!

Some of the views in this series make no sense. There's no connection between endowment size and loans. The best endowed schools tend to have the best grant aid packages. I can personally attest to the fact that my Ivy League undergrad cost me $0 in student loans, while my grad degree from a private poorly endowed FL school cost me $40k, in spite of a teaching assistantship. A large portion of endowments are restricted gifts for research, facilities, etc and can't be used for scholarships.
I appreciate your comment. I think it's great that you did not have to take out student loans for your undergraduate IVY league education. I say that with sincerity. The majority of students in this country DO NOT compete in the bracket you speak from. My point was that while it is one thing for those endowed schools to keep growing and profiting, we must look at the other sphere that increasingly depends on uneducated students to sign off and foot the bill. I hope you listen to Parts V and VI.
