Great videos. I have both volumes of the Lick Library Maiden discs and there are a lot of mistakes in there. Your lessons are awesome, and way more accurate!

1. I think you're an amazing guitarist my friend. I love your videos. I don't usually look at them to learn the solos I have them mostly by ear, but when it comes to the tricky parts I come here to watch and learn. Thank you for being awesome.
2. What kind of recording equipment are you using? Because when I play I get this nasty whomp on the guitar with the bass on the guitar. Thank you.

@jmiller09brophy , hi bud. I use one guitar, into a podxt live board, into a delta 1010lt sound card in the pc, and cubase 4 software. thats it. the guitar is an ibanez classic 410 with semour duncan pickups (invaders) hope this helps

Triumph-I got all 4 sections down, note for note, and can play along with each section.
Tragedy-playing this in real time seems ridiculously impossible. 1) How long should it take me to be able to play it at real speed? 2) How should I gradually increase speed? 3) How important is that slight delay I hear on your guitar? It seems to add to the "sweetness" of tone that you achieve, that I seem to be lacking... Help!

1, depends how long you've been playing, 2, practice getting it right, do not increase speed until its perfect, never move speed up a notch until you perfect it, most people think that by speeding it up it sounds ok, but unless you perfect it it sounds messy. 3, your choice, i like the sweetness, it adds a nice ring, or after touch/reverb if you will, either way it sounds nice to me, go with your feelings.
