so which is better UK or Korea?
Neither as far as i can tell they sound exactly the same.

Yes, they both sound the same (like crap); now I know. At least, lousy for chord definition, since no lead was played-

I have one of the UK Guv'nor pedals. They sound great (the best I have ever heard) pushing a tube amp - preferably one that is already overdriven a bit. I don't think they are a great choice for solid state amps. A Jazz Chorus may be the worst amp choice to demo one of these on. Sorry, just my opinion. I don't know if the later issue Guv,nor pedal is just as good but if you can find one of these early ones, buy it.

Is the vintage gov'nor an overdrive or distortion? Is it more like a Boss yellow overdrive, or a boss orange distortion?
