Punk is telling us to live a better life. To make him seem evil while doing it, WWE gave him a Jesus gimmick where he verbally forced us to get saved (by him).

Jeff Hardy is a druggie who is still using drugs and is about to go to jail any time now. To make him seem good while doing it, WWE had him say that everyone makes mistakes. Apparently they still do if they're Jeff Hardy. I am a fan of both, but Punk is more sensible and the right one to listen to.

It's so awkward. Look, Cm Punk's a great wrestler, no doubt, he's a pretty hell of an entertainer, no doubt, but I think it was much better, when Punk was like overshadowed by other WWE wrestlers. I'm just sick of seeing him coming out every single Monday Night, cutting a pseudo-revolutionary promo, trying to give the taste of Attitude Era back, which was done wonderfully by him, but to time he became a kinda overrated, when he became SCSA's wannabe and it's just so noticeable.

@RemiRocks303 his straight edge promos have always been about why people would dislike him (drinking, smoking etc) sex is part of that he's in character he isn't saying what or who he's actually doing he knows that large male fan groups will boo him for saying having sex with sluts and whores is bad that's all, he has different straight edge beliefs than the ones he showed on the indies or in wwe

@wrestlefan2107 - I never said anything about him forcing his beliefs on other people. When did I ever state that? I'm just saying that he has a track record for bitching about how much he hates "sluts" and "whores" and having high standards in women but all the women he's ever dated have been mostly sluts with the exception of Maria and maybe Daffney. This has nothing to do with him being a heel or drawing heat for a promo.

I like Punk and all... But he's a liar here. He has PLENTY of promiscuous sex. The man runs through women like no tomorrow. He cheated and played two divas during his indie days and broke both of their hearts and ran away from them when they found out and he got caught. He has screwed a shitload of WWE Divas. He always bitches about how he hates sluts and whores but then he goes out with Matt Hardy's and Edge's sloppy leftovers -__- He doesn't follow straight edge completely.
