Part of a video walkthrough for the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina for Time for the Nintendo 64. In this part, Link gets some gold skulltulas and the Mask of Truth. Some gossip stones tell Link all about Malon, and Link goes into the Ice Cavern, where he gets Blue Fire!

  • 6:14 - I remember back when I used to play this game, how Navi would turn green in the center of that room. It never made sense to me, all I could think of was that it was a mistake, since in the next room, she turns green on that fan. As though they were gonna have a fan in the 1st room too but changed their minds. But I remember trying out tons of items and songs trying to see if there was some sort of secret there. It still bugs me. o_O

  • Yeah...why DOES she turn green there?

  • Regarding not being able to sell the blue fire, can't you sell it to the guy who buys the bugs from you? I remember being able to sell it in the Gamecube version for 150 rupees (or something like that), but I don't know if that applies in the Nintendo 64 version since I haven't played it.

Anyway, I love your walkthroughs! Even though I have played through this game a few times, I am still enjoying this walkthrough. Keep up the good work!

  • I tried selling Lon-Lon Milk to that man, and he doesn't accept it--what happens is that Link drinks the milk instead of selling it. I'm thinking that might happen with blue fire, too, because everyone recommends that man as easy money only for bugs.

  • Hey, how do I get another empty bottle?

  • @arglefumph Ain't it for the scarecrow song?

  • Regarding Link's choices in women: Saria would kinda be out too, even if she WASN'T a sage. Kokiri stay children... forever... which would make things kinda awkward when Link inevitably grew up.

  • i think how the time travel work is that when link pulls the sword his soul gets trapped for 7 years in a time warp so when time pass it affects you and the land and what happens but it doesnt afffect your mind so you only know what you knew 7 years in the past but when you put the sword back your soul is trapped again and a timewarp happens but it goes in reverse but i cant explain the no multiple link thing

  • 5:43 its called global freezing dude

  • @sandralee0625 he starts hen hes young and it been awhile 7 years later.

  • woah wait o.o so when he puts the sword in he just turns into young link but its still the same time that old link put in the sword? er what i'm trying to say is when he turns into young link gan whats his name is still ruling the world?

  • do you mean all the girls EXCEPT Zelda? cuz it's kinda impossible for her to turn into a sage since she's the princess of destiny
