This is looking increasingly more like Thomas Pynchon's stuff, especially "V: A Novel".

Some of the footage in the trailers made me think it was a direct adaptation of "V". I hope this means PTA is really intent on making that Inherent Vice adaptation.

So many of these scense from the trailers werent in the movie at all. I love it.

A lot of the scenes that were cut, were cut well before the trailers ever came out. Granted, they make the film look slightly different in retrospect -- but, a lot of the deleted material doesn't really seem as necessary to have been included.
