Light Hits The Plants (Photosynthesis Song)

A group of high school students write a song and make a music video about photosynthesis for a extra credit project for their biology class. Based off a song by The Lonely Island. Notice: The soundtrack was created entirely by ourselves.

Stage one, of this bio game
Is photosystem 2 despite its name
The plant absorbs light from the sun
Electrons are excited by these photons
The electrons are lost to the transport chain

ATP is made one by one in this phase

it doesn't matter cuz I'm goin' crazy

Photosystem one is similar to PS two
It's a bit different cuz of it's value
The electrons are sent to the reductase
NADPH is made in this phase
The calvin cycle doesn't need any light
But with ATP it seems to do alright
With 6 NADPH ,9 ATP
The calvin cycle churns out 1G3P
But remember where this all began
It really all just started with the sun
when the
Light hits the plants

Phase one of the this cycle is carbon fixation
But dont get us wrong, its the foundation
Carbon Dioxide is let through the entrance
Because the

Regeneration of RuBP
This step is also known as phase number three
Now the cycle goes back to phase one
And it keeps goin and goin cuz its havin fun

Today, I saw a plant
To be exact, it was a tree-like plant
Walked up close to see its leaves
Looked at it close to see how it breathes

Taking a stroll in cuesta park
Making my way through the pitch black dark
I wonder how the plants work at night

Photosynthesis is when plants get hit by light
The plants absorb the light to power light reactions
All these things give a plant a lot of satisfaction
