@parandehdarya You are correct; the land was called Arran, an ancient derivative of Iran (Aryan), and the name "Azer-bay-Gan" was the name of the favorite general of the Persian King. Fire Temples come from the ancient faith of Persia (Zoroastrianism), a proto-religion. These fire temples are all over Iran - Even Persopolis has the ancient Zorastrian Symbols carved onto its walls. The particular fire temple in the video is inscribed in Iranian languages (Persian and Sanskrit).

@piratesofjalandhar : The Fire Temple was made by Persians -- the only language used on the exterior of the Fire Temple are Iranian Languages (including Persian). The stone carvings are entirely in Persian. The name of 'Baku' and 'Azerbaijan' are Persian. Ba + Ku = Bad-Kubideh (wind pounded city). "Azer-ba-gan" in Persian means "protected by fire" and was the named after the favorite general of the King of Persia by the same name. Remember this territory was Iran's for thousands of years.

Zoroastrains are not fire worshippers, that is an insulting phrase used by some Muslims to denegrate a great religion. Fire is a destroyer of impurities and it is a primal element in the context of earth, wind , fire, water. It used in worship, but fire is not considered God or god, even Agni is not fire, but the manifestion that controls it.
