@3:30 Revision A & B of the dual rectifier...some serious amp history right there!

Marshall died after 1979, that was the last excellent Marshall amp that was ever produced. After that, Mesa crushed Marshall in the 80's, as Marshall became commercial and lost their edge so to speak. They just started to copy other amp designs instead of being the front runner that they once were. Too bad really. Satriani might be their only hope as he is trying to dial in a good tone with them and build his new signature series for himself. Its been over a year so far. :-)

I never understood why certain informational videos like this still have dislikes. It's not exactly the type of video that polarizes opinions.

I love this whole tour, but why the hell have all the revisions of the rectifier continues to suck (except for the reborn) and never sounded better than the original?
To me that room is a hell hole!

@jsabo1929 Marshall has fans?

@guitarfan1979 One guy is responsible for the entire company. Randall Smith's Vision, Randall Smith's Sound, Randall Smith's Company, Randall Smith's Legacy. It's ALWAYS just one guy; everyone else are merely tools in that one guy's toolbox. Welcome to Trailblazing 101.
Finally a good tour of the Mesa Boogie Factory. I never thought this was going to happen.
