  • here you say it substitutes interlocking fabrics. i am making one with lining and interlining would you do it with these many layers as well?

  • @mcaprizs No, I would interlock the interlining as normal, and use the chain stitch on the llining fabric. This is also very good when using blackout linings.

  • Only sew into the hem line, don't take the thread through to the face fabric. The finished chain stitch should be in between the lining and the face fabric but not seen from the back or front.

    It's not a dumb question.. Ask as many as you need.
