  • @handsometall28 - I'm not a horticulturist or turf specialist, I'm just the TV guy. But I have heard them (on our program) talk about overseeding in the fall (mainly September) to give the grass a chance to get established before winter. I would think that November would be too late, too cold for the grass to germinate, let alone get established. Location matters - north or south east coast, and variety of grass seed too. A good Garden Center turf person should steer you right.

  • Our lawn mower has aerated and overseed our lawn about 3 weeks ago, in late October: it is now Novermber and weather is going to be sunny and around 60F and low of 35F; is is OK for me to overseed again? I had bought some good seeds while back and would like to use them. please advise (We are in East Coast)
