Not by George Gershwin - It's Phillip Charig - Music - Ira Gershwin - Lyrics.

I daresay someone's already pointed this out, but the composition is by Philip Charig, not George Gershwin. The industrial strength silliness in the lyrics was provided by Ira Gershwin, George's brother.
