hey love the tank i was thinking of setting up a malawi chiclid tank and after seeing yours and a few others on here it has convinched me i have 3 aqauriums at the moment 1 more wont hurt lol (also are the yellow fish called yellow labs? thanks)

Hi there
Many thanks for your comment, these are yellow labs. all i can say is keep the PH up to 8+ and change 60% of the water once a week or more, this will keep them happy and also change the rocks around as this will stop them becoming terratorital.

with that huge of a water change, wouldn't the tank get cloudy? mine has been cloudy for the last couple of days :(

hi rav did you wash your stones well ,if not dont worry it will take longer to clear i have a under gravel filter and a internal filter , the internal filter has 4 sponges a carbon one also has a top poly pad which i clean every day and rinse the other sponges every other day.when i change the water i hoover the gravel this cleans all the nitrite and keeps the amonia down by doing 60% of water every week should keep your tank clear and healthy.any problems email back
