  • I think the Borodin Trio really capture the feeling and nuances of the Elegiaque of Rachmaninov, very Russian.

  • The very beginning is probably the best music I ever heard. As if the music would twinkle.

  • @hissetveoyna ,I thought he was 16 when he composed this trio! But the exact age doesn't really matter. It's just a wonderfull piece!

  • rachmaninoff was 19 years old when he was composing this piece..

  • @timothkeyyprice This may be uninspiring to you, pls make that distinction. No need to repeat yourself, some people just do not get inspired but it's ok, we understand :-)

In my opinion, this is immensely melodic and lyrical, an extraordinarily inspired and inspiring piece, and if I may be permitted to add, performed extremely well. Only Rach's trio in D Minor surpasses this composition.

  • @timothkeyyprice At least I laughed.

  • The 2nd Piano concerto had always been my favorite until now. I see why they put up the impressionist painting. Oh Rachmaninov, paint my heart with your sublime purple tones of Russian melancholy and beauty!!!

  • Rachmaninov is better than 50 cent!

  • RACH!!!!!!!!!

  • Bomb!
