Chinatown, New York City, was partying like it was 4707 as a parade celebrated the Year of the Ox. This parade was held Sunday February 2, 2009. A few hundred thousand people were there to take it all in. The color red is thought to ward off evil spirits and bad fortune. Ditto the drum beats.
