Cabela's Edmonton Grand Opening - Ribbon Cutting

Bow hunter Steve Ecklund, a Cabela's Pro Staff member and resident of Red Deer Alberta, takes aim at the ribbon to officially open the first Cabela's store in Alberta.

As an avid hunter Steve was distracted by the realistic 3D archery targets and mistakenly shot the animal target rather than the ribbon... After celebrating the shot, CEO and President of Cabela's, Tommy Millner, pointed out the correct target and Steve took aim for the official ribbon cutting shot.

The store opened at 11:00am on August 4th and is located at the Currents of Windermere in southwest Edmonton. The store is designed to "Immerse customers in the outdoor experience" and it features the hallmark Cabela's Conservation Mountain, complete with waterfall and game display.
