  • For a country where thoroughbred racing is supposed to be one of the most respected sport there is? How in God's name the Japanese could've let Ferdinand end up dying in one of their slaughter houses is just inexcusable. In all honesty, Ferdinand should have never even been sent to Japan to try and breed. He had already tried and failed in the US, just like Cigar did. But horses that win our Kentucky Derby and BC Classic's are retired to be our national treasures, not Japanese dog food!! TJMO
