  • A video camera cannot even come close to the quality of a good SLR camera. Even 'Full HD' which is 1080p, only amounts to an image slightly less than 2.1 megapixels. Still impressive assuming 30 frames per second, but a digital SLR can do upwards of 14.7 megapixels for a rather cheap price. They can't do as many frames per second (usually around 8), but the pictures are much much better.

  • do you think that guy got enough pictures of the launch. what was he trying to do? make a flip book.

  • you've obviously never touched or used a camera before that shuttle is going so fast maybe 5 of all those pictures he took was worth keeping he has to make sure hes on the shuttle the entire time so that camera doesnt focus in on anything else just doin it cuz he only had one chance
