  • @teamarcticrider03 the first pass of the season I allways Pan and Cut, I move the snow around in the blades, the more you move it the better it compacts. you can check all my videos and my blog 15+ years of grooming

  • @jksnow500 If been grooming for 15+ years in Northern canada and I groom up to full speed with a New Holland tractor. if its smooth you can go fast it ok, you have to go slower if the re bumps thats for sure

  • I have been grooming for 30 years and you can go faster than 3-4 mph grooming. In fact, if you can get the snow to roll in the air, it will crystalize if the weather is cold enough and it makes a better trail. You just need to keep the snow in the drag and rolling up infront of the rear pan. Happy grooming.

  • i hope you know that you are only suspose to go a 3-4 mph to get the best compaction. I did some gromming in the kettle Range Snow Riders in Mishicot, Wisconsin

  • i am a groomer opperator for the iron range trail club.we begin grooming when theres 8inchs of snow on the trails but we begin paning the trails when theres 5inchs. trails paning is when you dont have any blades down on the drag actual grooming is when you have the blades down on the drag we run 3 tucker sno cats 2006-2008s with 3 10ft arrowhead drags we groom 148 miles of trails round trip on all the trails we groom are 10-12hrs round trip

  • we started grooming when there was about 6"-8" i'd say...we don't have much to work with this year, but the storm from the past few days helped...

  • whats the least amount of slow you need too groom a trail?
