Likewise Jit will tell you that one of his greatest arranging influences is none other than Clive Bradley. Makes sense; they are the two greatest arrangers of all time.

Jit is a National Icon. I can remember I once asked the late great Clive Bradley, if he has to arrange a Panorama tune with some one who would he choose and with out a moment hesitation he said Jit, I was presently surprised. Jit must be cherished, he is a gift to our people. We must thank Almighty God for Him.

are you serious? with renegades 2003 "Iorn band" and 2004 "pan on the road", with Cordettes and Arima Angel Harps he composed pieces from 1991 to about 1993 the most popular ones being "Miss Supporter" and "Pan Man Vibration". I'm one of Jit's greatest fans and has followed his career from the late 1980's. His Music is truely missed during the panorama season but im sure he'll be back soon enough to strike a blow again at the panorama.

Didnt know he composed? You have alot to learn. Thats why I got so emotional with you when you where analysing the mans career when you obviously had no clue about the contributions he made to this artform. No one has scored more compositions for pan than Dr. Jit Samaroo. 11 national test pieces and 2 full length concerts (1997 and 1999) of original works by the man. You seem to like pan, so I suggest you buy the cd Jit Samaroo: Original notes and educate yourself.

I knew Jit was a genius, but I didn't know he composed. This piece of chamber music is of the highest quality. A pity it is not better known.
