Courtaulds Coventry Tower Demolition 7th March 11:00 2010

The final part of courtaulds demolition was the disposing tower which sat just at the edge of the site. Unfortunately I did not get the water tower being demolished because I was concentrating on the disposing tower. This was such a big part of coventry's history and to see it go in a matter of seconds was truly amazing.

From where it was filmed, The ground shook as the explosion went off and when it hit the ground.

I was expecting an earthquake a few days after this, it happend in 2002 when the gas towers in foleshill were demolished.

It wasn't a cooling tower - that was gone weeks before this.
