This is an awesome clip. After Lynn stepped out of the spotlight for so long we were so anxious about what the critics called her 'comeback'. When she came out on that stage my Mom and I exploded!! She looked so amazing and sounded so incredible. She knocked everyone out of their seat that night and showed them she still had STAR QUALITY!

Actually she walked out of her Columbia contract in 1980. When she returned to the music business Columbia had already given her contract to Janie Frickie who was by that time what Lynn had been earlier...a huge star. Columbia was very upset with the way she left them and rumour has it that she was to have had her own show on TV, which went to the lesser known Barbara Mandrell! Instead she married oil tycoon Harold "Spook" Stream, who later tried to have her committed.
