there is just one problem... three out of four of the ingredients listed are not exactly easy to come by
it's not like i could go to the market and ask for it.

Loved the video, very interesting. Would the food colouring you added not stain highly bleached hair?

I use it in the salon on just about every client that sits in my chair and it hasn't stained any of my DPs or highlights.

Could I possibly use another preservative? Like Germaben?

Yes. Germaben will also inhibit microbial, yeast and mould growth in cosmetics and other personal products. iwould use about 1% ( in a gallon you would use 1.28 oz.
