  • Thanks for the professional and interesting video!

One question: what technique / system did you use to extract and prepare the

    PRP?

    Many thanks and best regards!

  • @StroboKahn We use the Centrifuge from Harvest Technologies. I hope you enjoyed the video. Happy Holidays

  • The anesthesia used was Intravenous sedation consisting of Versed, Fentanyl, Ketamine and Brevital. Post-operative instructions are similar to most oral surgical procedures but patients are also instructed to not "blow" their nose for 2 weeks, sneeze with an open/covered mouth etc. Most of our post-operative instructions can also be found on our website at LICOMS.net

  • Very neatly executed, congratulations on the video!

I'm not familiar with the instrument you utilized to harvest the bone.. which is that one?

Also, what kind of membrane did you utilize?

  • @Plepis - Thank you for your comments. The grafting instrument is called the Osteoharvester from Osteomed. The membrane used is called Biomend. It has a little firmer consistancy than something like Bioguide. I like the firmer membrane on a relatively flat surface.

  • Thanks for the instructional video! I don't have the money for this, but I figure I can just do it myself in the mirror. Cheers!

  • So much respect for all OMFS surgeons. A thing of beauty.

  • The company website that is manufacturing the Osteoharvester is osteomed.com
