Bumbling Darrel drops the ball -- again!

NY State Senator Darrel Aubertine was caught in another whopper, claiming that "Albany politics" was holding up important legislation when, in fact, the bumbling, fumbling newbie senator had dropped the ball. Again!

North Country Public Radio reports 6/15 that Darrel never asked to have the bill (S.7156-A) moved to the full Senate -- and never filed the customary and usual form to allow the move.

As a result of his inaction, the non-profit Watertown YMCA must pay $27,000 in taxes (money it has to take from its program budget) because it does not currently own the building (ownership would make it tax-exempt).

Aubertine has raised the red herring of "politics" on several occasions to explain his inability get bills passed, provide funding for local projects and deliver adequate education funding to communities in his district avoid property tax increases.
