This documentary short-film is a compilation of interviews of six everyday people who are not professional athletes but whose varied opinions and wisdom are indicative of many Americans. They discuss everything from the money that owners of professional teams make, to the money that colleges collect from their athletic programs, to professional athletes salaries of yesteryear. They also speak on what athletes should and should not do with their money. As you view this film, listen carefully, as you may hear something that you've never heard before. Or, you may hear something that may change how you think about their salaries.

@coreonacentenialball also get out of your house and try to do something in your life instead of bashing people that make an honest living.

All you guys are worthless that believe athletes make to much money, they are under paid i know personally from my years of playing professional baseball. When you put in the thousands upon thousands of hours perfecting our craft and all the revenue we bring into the owners we get less than 50% of the money brought to these teams. especially athletes that compete in football or MMA they are putting their lives on the line every time they walk on to the field on in the cage.

I don't believe that professional athletics should get pensions i believe that if an Athletic is making millions of dollars a year-He does not need a pension he should invest his money wisely for the day when he can no longer play sports-a perfect example is baseball player Mickey Mantle-when he retired from baseball he became a entrepreneur and brought restaurants

they do make too much money... but it's the fans that watch/go to the arena that are basically paying them. plus adv. so it's not like it's coming out of your taxes. But it does bother me that we live in a world where a soldier makes nothing to risk his life for his country, while some dumb fuck out of highschool, who can throw a ball in a ring can make millions so he can wear his bling bling. just seems backwards.

No atheletes are paid what the market bears they create jobs by selling a lot of advertisment space to TV and other vendors. besides the only one who can make that determination is the owners who are running the business not the customers who are their to regulate the quality of the sport.

@tuedaz also if you want the money earn it.

@tuedaz Then what about actors who make 30 mil a movie? If you bought the ticket to watch the game just like you did for the movie you wanted to watch you have no room to really complain.
