A birthday update

This is my first clip filmed with my new HD camera that I got for my birthday. We will probably not render our films in 1080p as this one but 720p for sure since 1080p produces huge files.

This camera is the Sony HDR-CX115E. A very good camera for its price.

Cool man, we use a HD camera now but rendering is a living hell.

We use mpeg streamclip to compress the files so that they are only a few mega bytes :)

Oh okay, but that makes it loose quality doesn't it?

Cause when we film in Full HD, this clip for instance became around 208 mb.

We're probably gonna film our movies later on in 1080p but render in only 720p, easier for the computer and still great quality :D
