My steam pump is seen running here for the first time in decades. It is a 6x4x6 duplex pump built by the Union Steam Pump Company in Battle Creek, Michigan during WWII.
It was used as a boiler feed water pump in the Bethlehem Silk Mill in Bethlehem, PA. The pump was recovered just days before scrappers were scheduled to cut it up in the fall of 2005. On Sunday, August 24, 2008 it was returned to operation under compressed air at the Number 9 Coal Mine and Museum in Lansford, PA. It is extremely similar to pumps that were once commonly found draining coal mines
Can someone tell me how to time these i got mine to run but its not perfect if you can help private message me

nice pump. we still use this design at the alumina plant i work at in Qld, Aus. Alot bigger of course (aprox 22'' diameter piston) but a breeze to work on.

I enjoy watching the old steam pumps. Nothing compares to the simple days.
