I was lucky enough to see the talented Tommy Hayes perform at our recent festival in Sligo. He is one talented man on the bodhran and of course the spoons.
Concidering the fact that most bodhran players consider themselves Gods who want everyone to play is THEIR methods it is with great joy that Tommy Hayes has not only a differnt method (and can play more precise) but he doesn't have a "swollen head", He's one of the few bodhran players I'd like to meet in person!
thanks tommy chris nestor

Great video David!
I'm still just trying to figure Tommy's basic strokes at the beginning... Maybe I could do with a thin tipper like his...
Ach, practice makes perfect.

Thanks so much for posting! I was lucky enough to have Tommy Hayes as my first teacher. Even to this day I can't fathom how skilled he is!
