My most beloved treasure is an autographed photo Fangio sent me back in 83' . I was just 10 years old and decided to send him a letter. All I could think of was to send it to Mercedes Benz Argentina headquarters. Never thought about getting an answer but a few weeks later there it was, I just couldnt believe it.

@zwolfen 1991. I was fortunate to receive an autograph from Fangio in his autobiography. He was all that you've ever read about him. Great man. The greatest Grand Prix driver (along with Nuvolari) ever.

lo que queda de esa gran persona que fue y es fangio no voy a olvidar nunca de las 84hs de nurburgring con el torino 380w
-
The bald man signing autographs next to Fangio at the beginning is Jose Froilan Gonzales. Another great Argentine driver.
-
@wermach123 i like americans been there a few times love the people.would not argue about the drivers.love indy cars
-
tonykart7777 apparently you don't like Americans, well that's your your choice, but I can say that we have two world champions in f1. Mario Andretti and Phil Hill. Both of which are amazing drivers, I would love someone to argue otherwise.

No solo un piloto genial, pero todo un señor. Que grán diferencia tenemos hoy, con un bando de chicos arrogantes que se creen geniales...
-
Fangio y Froilan Gonzalez lo mas grandes de todos los tiempos
My first hero...May I ask what year that was? He was at Pebble Beach for that interview.

Brabham please, Senna is Brasilian, Fittipaldi also and Fangio/Argentina was the unbeaten Champion ( 4 or five championships ) before Schumacher took over. By the way I am German not American
