This is one way to set up triple screen system, but the converter has poor performance when it comes to playing videos or gaming.

  • if i had a newer laptop with a better processor like i5 or i7, would there be less lag in the three monitors?

because that is EXACTLY what i'm setting out to do: dock with 2vid outputs and an additional usb converted video output. a reply appreciated.

  • @trekonbt I think there might be still some lag issues regardless of processor type, at least don't get up your hopes about smooth gaming experience with three monitors.

  • how do you set up the computer to recognize all three monitors?

  • @MrJgd5 After you install the driver for the usb to DVI adapter the computer will recognize all monitors automatically

  • @SatunnainenKulkija So I dont need to update my video card or download any 3rd party software? Thanks for your help.

  • @MrJgd5 at least I didn't have to update or download any software

  • wow your contract consistency sucks

  • why not also use the laptop's screen and have 4screens?

  • @trekonbt no, USB is not fast enough. it will not suport Aero either. if You were to use something like this. I'd only use it for word editing and keep the screens hooked directly to the laptop as my main screens.

  • amerikan lippu tuo sivus shaatana :D
