  • (continued) I tried the new yellow R22 Beta, and it was too sensitive, I fly with all my sensitivity settings, Full Realistic, the Carb heat was non-existant, so most of the time I fly the older version. I feel I'm able to compare now, as I started school in January and have my Private Checkride coming up in 2 weeks in R22. Thanks for your interest, let me know when you get the new one finished. Look forward to it.

  • Hey Fred,

I was using the 9.21rc version of X-Plane. The R22 Beta seemed pretty good, as far as sensitivity. During Autos the Rotor RPM didn't want to shoot through the roof, and have to be caught with the collective, and the instruments were a little blurry with some non functioning guages, the manifold pressure was also a little off. More to follow.

I´m a x-plane developer, and i´m working on a new R22 Beta II for the simulator, just a quick question, how did you compare the simulator vs real one?

    Fred.
