its sad, but this is a reality in our profession, and sellers like these are a dime a dozen. Really funny though...I might show this in a listing presentation.
My mom is in real estate and I help her out sometimes, and this is hilarious. If you have been in the business long enough to build a good client base, you have to understand that clients are like busses...miss out on one, and 10 minutes later another one will walk in. Can't get hung up on one person being an unreasonable moron. 90% of the people she works with are actually reasonable and understanding...imagine that!
As a real estate agency owner who works exclusively representing buyers, I think this is a hysterical esposé of many unrealistic sellers...my heart goes out to listing agents in the current real estate climate! It's important to say "no!" to sellers who want you to work for them for nothing - what disrespect for the professionalism of Realtors who really know their market and can help serious and realistic sellers and buyers. Thanks, Tom!
@chrismc1571 My dear...you must have used your mother's cousin's best friend as your agent, because everyone I know who has made a career in Real Estate, whether sales or investments, either has a degree in business, or relies on continuing education to further their knowledge of the housing market and real estate laws, and build on their negotiating skills.

HA! That this skit represents so many Americans is at the same time hilarious, and just a little scary.

@chrismc1571 I am sorry that your experience with Realtors has been a negative one.
I have 25 years in my field and I take my business quite seriously.
Perhaps I brought on the negative comment with this post, for us Realtors it had merit and humor. I apologize if it struck a nerve with you.
I hope that when you buy property for yourself that you find a great Realtor who will change your point of view .
Best of luck :)
