Created by Vancouver Film School student Stephanie Sim through the VFS Classical Animation program. It received the award for "Best Classical or Stop Motion Animation" at the 2006 CAEAA awards.

@zonk09 Students in our Classical Animation program hand draw animation pieces like this. ToonBoom's Opus and Adobe Photoshop were used to scan and digitally ink the piece after. Thanks!

I adore the idea behind this vid.

The animation is extemely well done and has it own style and charm.

I especially like the sounds, the music and the effect (like when the page-butterfly flies out and becomes a book)

he only but, it that I have a feeling that it's unfinished, that the story goes on but tha we just see a slight glimps of it.:)

if only that was true i wish books would just grew on trees then i wouldnt have to pay so much for them at a book stores or have someone drive me to the library i want a book tree

The expression of yellows and oranges its rich and provides a sober environment to the message of the video. The animation is very well done, too.

I also draw but this animation is just classic! the ambiance, the melodies, all together it's perfect! I love it, and the idea of the vid, although not exactly sufficing, it's touching and wonderful. <3
