NASA TV broadcasts a view of Japan's H-II Transfer Vehicle (HTV) showing the first visual contact made by ISS with the HTV around 1:00pm EDT on September 17.

The Japan's HTV was successfully launched by Japan's H-IIB Rocket earlier on September 10 from the Tanegashima Space Center, Japan and was making the first voyage to ISS to deliver equipments and necessary supplies. It is planned to make such deliveries once every year at least for next 7 years.
