World Championship shooter Todd Jarrett shows off Para USA's latest innovation, the PDA (Personal Defense Assistant), which features the patented LDA (light double-action) system to reduce trigger pull.
The secret to the LDA is that the action of the slide moving toward the rear compresses the mainspring, so the trigger isn't completely pulling against it. As the trigger goes back, it finishes the compression before releasing the hammer to hit the firing pin. For the shooter, this means a lighter trigger pull, making shooting more consistent.

I got a brand new Para USA Hawg 9 and it is by far the biggest piece of junk I have ever owned. Over 300 rounds and 99% were failure to feed and stovepipe jams. I have never fired a full clip yet. Been back at the factory for 4 weeks now and have not received a email or phone call. Also after the 300 rounds 30% of the finish has wore off. I will never buy a Para product again and you should never consider one.
