It's just the rhythm of the salsa version :D really popular in Italy a few years ago!!!

I enjoyed this. I don't understand the point about the piano being too fast: this is just the speed of the accompaniment. If the overall tempo was too quick then the piano would be out of sync with the singer - and it clearly isn't.
